THE QUICK START
From a moment
to a performance.
A few simple ways into LUVO. Start small. Experiment often.
1. Bring in your material
Import audio or video through the app’s import controls, or record a sample with the camera and microphone. Use media you created or have permission to use.
2. Shape a pad
Select a pad to work with its audio, video and effects. Trim the part you want, adjust the volume or pitch, and try reversing it.
3. Choose how it plays
Use Loop for repetition or One Shot for a single playback. Mute is independent: it silences that pad’s audio while its video continues, without changing the saved volume. You can mute a pad with either playback option or with neither selected.
4. Save your work
Save a LUVO project when you want to return to the whole session. Choose your preferred LUVO folder in Files, including iCloud Drive. LUVO remembers that location. If it cannot use it, you can choose another location or use the local LUVO folder. You can still save elsewhere.
5. Create a sample pack
Choose Create Sample Pack, select the pads you want to include, and name your pack. The exported .luvopack file includes the selected media and pad settings, so another device does not need your original files.
6. Load a sample pack
Choose Load Sample Pack and select a .luvopack file. Review the placement before importing. Pads are placed into available empty slots; existing pads stay untouched. If there isn’t enough room, free up slots or use a new project.
7. Share the result
Use LUVO’s bounce and export controls to turn your work into media you can save or share. Keep a project copy too, so you can keep experimenting.
